Verstappen reveals learnings amid dominant F1 season

Max Verstappen has denied that his dominant Formula 1 season has stopped him from experiencing growth.

Verstappen has spent much of the campaign at the head of the F1 field, winning 17 out of the 20 Grands Prix staged so far.

The Dutchman picked up his third title with several rounds to spare while Red Bull also triumphed in the Constructors' standings for the second year in a row.

Little competition has been posed to Verstappen with Red Bull's only defeat coming at the Singapore Grand Prix, where Carlos Sainz won for Ferrari.

Verstappen believes that despite his run of success at the front of the field, numerous weekends have posed challenges this year.

“[I've learned] a lot of different things, and every single weekend, different things happen,” he told media including RacingNews365.

“Some weekends you learn more. Some weekends you learn less. Sometimes you hit the ground running, the car is unbelievable, you barely touch the set-up of the car.

“Sometimes you have weekends, where it’s a bit harder to get on top of things, driving-wise, set-up wise, and you might find out a bit more.

“You might learn a bit more in the race, certain scenarios, you learn more.

“We can go on forever but every single weekend is different.”
